Definitely don’t show to young kids, because you will have some explaining to do. It was fairly light humoured up until the end, which got pretty disgusting pretty fast.Īnyways, watch at your own risk and keep the last scene in mind. Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, sequel to Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, finds the wacky pet sleuth in Africa hot on the trail of the kidnapped sacred white. Honestly if it weren’t for the end of the movie, i would have enjoyed it.
Ace repeatedly throwing up at the thought of kissing a man then ripping off the detectives clothes to reveal tucked parts is just wrong. I know some people will say I’m a snowflake (no pun intended) for saying that the last scene is offensive, but it really is. Ace ripped off the detective’s clothes to expose the “parts” to prove that the lady was in fact a man in “disguise”.
Regardless, trans or not, the last scene was pretty bad. I don’t mind Jim Carrey’s humour, but I know a lot of people find him irritating so if you don’t like him then don’t watch.Īlso, I’m not sure if this movie is homophobic or transphobic, since I am not sure if the antagonist/detective was really trans or not, or simply changing their body to remain “undercover”.
Kind of a stupid comedy made for those around 15+, since there are sex scenes randomly in the movie.
